System technology
Choose the right approach.

Defined areas. Protection after hours.
A useful alarm needs appropriate detection, a dependable signalling path and an agreed action when it operates.
We review the building layout, stock and asset risks, working hours and insurer requirements before agreeing the security grade and detection plan. PD 6662, the relevant BS EN 50131 requirements and BS 8243 inform the specification where applicable.
Single- or dual-path signalling is selected to suit the risk. Dual-path arrangements use separate communication routes, but the actual resilience depends on the products, infrastructure and configuration. Alarm confirmation and entry procedures are designed to reduce avoidable activations.
Where supported, access control can coordinate setting permissions and CCTV can present associated images. Interfaces are checked for compatibility and do not bypass alarm confirmation or response conditions. Existing systems are assessed before deciding what can be retained.
