Search Technology
Screen people and items at controlled entry points. Search technology selected around the threat, the environment and a workable process for staff and visitors.

Screening & controlled entry
Match the search to the risk.
Different technologies reveal different information. Baggage imaging, metal detection and body screening are not interchangeable. The right solution starts with the threat assessment and the process for resolving an alarm—not simply the machine.
System solutions
Choose the right approach.

Effective screening starts with a workable entrance.
Screening is an operational system: people, equipment, space and a clear response to an alarm.
We assess arrival volumes, item sizes, queuing space and the level of inspection required. Layout planning includes accessible routes, operator positions, power, environmental conditions and a suitable area for secondary checks.
Training and an agreed alarm-resolution procedure are fundamental. Equipment using ionising radiation requires the relevant specialist advice and regulatory arrangements; it is not treated as a routine replacement for other search methods.
Where manufacturer interfaces support it, screening events can be associated with visitor records, access control or CCTV. This helps establish context without allowing a security integration to override equipment safety functions or the screening decision.
